Typoclass is a design camp for people who love letters. The fourth edition program contains two five-day intensive lettering and calligraphy workshops with remarkable professionals in the field.

Jakob Engberg Petersen
Jakob is the only full time sign painter in Denmark, working under the name Copenhagen Signs with traditional sign painting, hand lettering and gold leaf work.

Oleksiy Chekal
Oleksiy is a designer and calligrapher with deep knowledge of the history of typefaces and various handwriting traditions. His studio PanicDesign specialise in complex tasks in the field.
The program is suitable for both beginners who will try lettering and calligraphy for the first time, as well as experienced professionals who want to develop and improve their skills.
There are three options to choose from:
1. 5-day hand lettering and sign painting workshop;
2. 5-day Latin, Cyrillic and Greek calligraphy workshop;
3. 10-day full program of two workshops.

The classes will take place in the Old School.
housing
The participants can be accommodated in different hotels and guest houses in Bozhentsi village. After reservation, we will discuss the accommodation options in detail.
Participants usually eat together in a restaurant with three meals a day. The menu is primary Bulgarian national cuisine and will be negotiated for a few days ahead and vegetarians will have an alternative.

Workshop registration is open from March 1 until April 26.
The initial price will be €399 for one workshop and €699 for two workshops. For 4 weeks, every Monday the price will increase by €25 for one workshop and €50 for two workshops. After March 28, registrations will be €499 for one workshop and €899 for two workshops, and until April 26 prices will remain unchanged.

Two free entries for students
Accommodation and food are not included in the workshop price, but we arrange it for you. Prices vary slightly, depending on the choice of hotel or guest house, but would not exceed €20 per day. Payment is made during the workshops.
If you would like to participate in the lettering workshop, make a design of the word “Lettering” and upload it your social profile before April 5! Tag your post with #typoclass and #typofest and write down why you want to participate.
If you would like to participate in the calligraphy workshop, make a design of the word “Calligraphy” and upload it your social profile before April 12! Tag your post with #typoclass and #typofest and write down why you want to participate.
You can participate with design for both workshops without restrictions. Winners will be selected by our mentors and announced on March 30.
