The main purpose of the workshop is to develop practical skills in typographic logo design. During the workshop each participant will get theoretical basis and develop a typographic logo for a selected brand, plus a brief presentation of the logo.

During the workshop you will go through:

1. Theoretical introduction (lecture) of logo basics (types of logos, characteristic of a good logo, common mistakes); typography basics (groups, types and their brief characteristics); research and tools (where and how to look for fonts); some examples of typographic logos; personal design process of the mentor and drafts (variety of approaches during the design process).

2. Individual design process for each participant (with help and supervision fo the mentor) for research (develop a moddboard for the brand); typography selection (where and how to search); typographic logo design for a selected brand; brief presentation of the logo.

It is recommended that all participants start the workshop with an idea of the brand they wish to design the typographic logo for. It can be an actual client, an existing brand or an imaginary one.

The workshop covers beginner to intermediate level, starting with some theoretical basics to put the designing process in proper order. During the designing stage you will get some guidance and recommendations necessary to develop a solid typographic logo ready to be presented to the public. Either you are a beginner or intermediate, this workshop will level you up.
